Garanti Masters Year End Cup
Garanti Masters Private Banking, the official sponsor of the Turkish Equestrian Fe deration and Turkish National Teams, continued its support to equestrianism with the Garanti Masters Year end Cup. The event took place in Istanbul on 25/26 December 2010. There was also a New Year’s Party at this last event of the year.
Garanti Masters Private Banking has organized an exclusive exhibition tour to the the internationally acclaimed artist Kutluğ Ataman’s first ever retrospective in Turkey on December 7th 2010 at Istanbul Museum of Modern Art.
“The Enemy Inside Me” exhibition brings together Ataman’s milestone videos and installations along with a new work never before seen in Europe. After the exhibition tour together with the curator Levent Calikoglu, Garanti Masters Private Banking has hosted a cocktail reception in the museum for the participants.
“In Search of Global Recovery” Conference (15 October 2010)
Institute of International Finance’s experts, invited by Garanti Masters Private Banking, discussed the recent developments in global financial markets, and the prospects for investors and institutions. At the conference “In Search of Global Recovery: Growth scenarios in economies and its effects on financial markets” IIF’s Deputy Managing Director and Chief Economist Philip Suttle, IIF’s Deputy Managing Director and Counsellor Hung Tran and JP Morgan Global Commodity Group, European Energy Research Head David Martin made presentations.
This was the second conference that Garanti Masters Private Banking held in cooperation with IIF. Created in 1983 The Institute of International Finance, Inc. (IIF) is the world's only global association of financial institutions.
In his presentation titled “Where are we standing in the global recovery process?” IIF’s Deputy Managing Director and Chief Economist Philip Suttle talked about potential risks in the second year of the monetary expansion and gave a 3-5 years global economic outlook. IIF’s Deputy Managing Director and Counsellor Hung Tran’s presentation title was “What will happen in international financial markets?” and he shared growth scenarios, prospects/risks and its effects on emerging countries as well as the effects of the new global financial regulatory framework on developed countries. JP Morgan Global Commodity Group, European Energy Research Head David Martin’s talked about the effects of oil prices on the markets and the recovery, his presentation was titled “Energy sector and oil”.

Garanti Masters Private Banking has hosted an exclusive concert of famous jazz vocalist Fanny Bériaux held at the Istanbul Jazz Center for its clients.
Manu Bonetti (guitar), Boris Schmidt (bass guitar) and Jérôme Baudart (drums) accompanied Fanny Bériaux at the concert held on April 30th, 2010. Fanny Bériaux, who took place in various vocal projects and jazz festivals in Belgium and Europe, had a stirring performance for Garanti Masters Private Banking clients.
Garanti Masters Private Banking has brought its clients together with the retrospective exhibition of Yüksel Arslan on March 8th 2010 for the second time.
The "Yüksel Arslan Retrospective" to be exhibited in santralistanbul, comprises the artist's pre- and post-Arture works since the 1950s. After the exhibition tour, together with Bilgi University's General Manager responsible for Museums Günseli Ateşok, Garanti Masters Private Banking set a cocktail reception in the "Control Room".
Olivier Ker Ourio, one of the world's well-known chromatic jazz harmonica players, gave an exclusive concert for “Garanti Masters Private Banking” clients at the Istanbul Jazz Center on January 14th 2010.
