Garanti Future Account

You save up for his/her future, and we will increase your savings.
.

Garanti Future Account is an accumulating savings account. It enables you to save up regularly every month and to reach the target savings amount that you have planed for your child. Even if your payments are in small amounts, you earn high interest in the long-run. Furthermore, you earn bonus, MR or miles on payments you make with your credit card.

  • Features and Benefits
    • You can make regular payments to your Garanti Future Account through either your Garanti credit card or your TL Current Account.
    • If you choose to make payments with your credit card, these transactions are reflected as purchases, not as cash advance transactions.
    • You can open your account in TL, USD or Euro. The minimum monthly payment amount is TL 50, USD 50, Euro 50.
    • It is the longest-term account option compared to its alternatives.
    • The term is 5 years for TL, 5 or 10 years for USD or Euro.
    • If you wish, when you are opening the account, you can make a lump-sum payment as the “opening amount”.
    • You start earning interest from the moment you make your first payment to your Garanti Future Account. At the end of each year, interest will accrue to your account.
    • For the first year, the maximum annual deposit interest rate that the bank applies for the currency that you select is applied. For the following years, the interest rate is determined at the beginning of each term by applying an additional interest rate to the maximum annual deposit interest rate.
    • Over the course of the term, you can make interim payments in an amount that you determine, provided the payment is made on the regular payment dates only.
    • You can change the payment amount for as many times as you wish, provided it does not fall below the minimum payment amount.
    • In the case where the regular payment amount cannot be collected, partial collection is carried out from the available balance of your account or the available limit of your credit card, provided it is not below the minimum regular payment amount. Regular payments made in the form of partial collections are not considered  as “overdue payments”.
    • You can withdraw money from your Garanti Future Account whenever you wish. However your account will be closed if you withdraw money.
    • When you withdraw money at the end of the terms, you do not forfeit any interest. After the first year, when you withdraw money in the middle of a term, you only forfeit the interest accrued in the term that you withdraw the money.
    • In the case that there are 3 consecutive overdue payments within the same year, your account is automatically closed and the balance available in the account is transfered to your current account.
    • If you wish, you can receive reminder messages from Garanti Reminder on the payment-due dates.
    • You can change the date, amount and the type of the payment and make payments for your unpaid orders through Online Banking, Paramatiks, 444 0 333 Alo Garanti or our branches.
