Garanti to launch a new advertising campaign for 2010.
The new campaign is based on the ideas of explaining the importance of the banking industry in the Turkish economy and of emphasizing GarantiBank’s role in economic activity.
The campaign focuses on how GarantiBank contributed towards stimulating economic activity during 2009 through both its financial resources and its products and services and on how by doing so it has touched the lives of everyone in Turkey in one way or another.
For this campaign, it was decided to explain the importance of banking through the eyes of individuals who might seem to have nothing to do with it at all: children. Primary school children were told stories involving banks and banking products and then asked to draw pictures about those stories. Drawings produced by more than 300 children over a two-week period were collected, compiled, and used to create the campaign’s visual message.
A new Garanti theme song composed by pop artist Nil Karaibrahimgil also makes its first appearance in this campaign.
