What are the features of Type A funds?

  • They have no maturity date.
  • They are composed predominantly of stocks, t-bills and government bonds.
  • The ratio of stocks must be at least 25%.

Garanti Bank Type A Mixed Fund: Suitable for investors who want to invest in stocks without taking too much risk. The ratio of stocks are at least 25%.
Garanti Bank Type A Balanced Equity Fund: contains a minimum of 30% and a maximum of 90% stocks, and a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 65% bills and bonds. The stocks in the portfolio consist of ISE-100 company  stocks that have a growth potential higher than the market averages in the medium term. By actively keeping track of the asset distribution and the stock selection, the fund is aimed to achieve a performance above the ISE-100 Index in the long-run.

Garanti Bank Type A ISE-30 Index Fund: A correlation coefficient of at least 90% is maintained between the ISE-30 Index value and the fund's value per share. At least 80% of the fund is composed of equities selected among all equities within the index or a portion of the equities selected through sampling.

Garanti Bank Type A ISE-100 Index Fund: A correlation coefficient of at least 90% is maintained between the ISE-100 Index value and the fund's value per share. At least 80% of the fund is composed of equities selected among all equities within the index or a portion of the equities selected through sampling.

Garanti Bank Type A Financial Institutions Sector Fund: By definition, at least 51% of the fund consists of equities of selected financial institutions. 90% of the fund is invested in the equities of financial institutions which are traded on the ISE. The return from the ISE Financial Index is aimed to be reflected to the investors in the medium and long term

  1. How can I place a buy order for the fund? Can I place a buy order in the interim period?

    You may place your buy orders between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 on the announced demand collection days, and until 12:00 on the last day.

  2. What is a 40 session order?

    While orders for only 1 or 2 sessions can be placed in the buy/sell step, you can place orders for a minimum of 3 sessions in the morning session, and a minimum of 2 sessions in the afternoon session, with a maximum of up to 40 sessions.
